I prefer it hands down over the fifth wheel hitch. Because of the fully adjustable air bag that is inflated to your preference there is a lot less bouncing and ratcheting of your RV. It stopped the problem we had of items falling out of cabinets because of the rough ride. When I purchased the hitch it was the only gooseneck conversion that could be done without voiding the Lippert structural warranty.
The RV was always stored inside so the hitch looks almost like new, no weathering or fading.
