▪️We are a very small multi generational family Farmstead. We started our Journey in 2020 and got very serious in 2023. We run our farm holistically and through permaculture principles. We value our customers and our livestock greatly. Because of this, I am more then happy to help you figure out what is the best fit for your family, farm, intentions, needs, and lifestyle. I am available for consult after purchases for the life time of your stock and probably longer.

• We started our farm like many do, with hatchery quality stock. I quickly realized that my birds back then were not living up to their true genetic potential and I wanted more from my birds for my family and our customers. That desire has taken me on quite the journey of evolving my knowledge base and management practices on our farmstead. We have not "arrived" where I intend to take our farm and stock, but we get closer to the dream each season. We now work to breed our birds to the standard set for them by the APA. Priorities and selection factors for breeding are based on the breed standard, production rates and qualities, rate of growth, temperament and personality, hardiness, disease resistance, rate of maturity, original purpose for the breed, and much, much more. Not necessarily in that specific order. Our farm is a work in progress and every year we grow and evolve what we are doing here. Always with the goal in mind of producing solid poultry that is better then the year before.

Breeds that will be available in the spring are true Ameraucana's, Salmon Favorelles, Silkies and Satin Silkies, and American Bresse. We will continue to offer our Leghorn Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Sex Link Hybrids, Bantam Cochins, and Serama's.


◾ATTENTION ◾ Are you looking for local Holistically raised meat and eggs?
▪️We are also considering doing our own processing here of holistically raised, non GMO, heritage meat birds. I am trying to gauge our local interest in purchasing whole processed meat birds.
▪️Faverolles and American Bresse are the breeds we have decided on. We chose those breeds for the following reasons
•dual purpose
•self sustainable fertility (unlike many popular terminal meat breed crosses)
• Great layers in summer (Bresse ) and winter
(Faverolles)
• Rate of maturity
• Fleshing ratio and rates
• Fantastic texture and flavor
• Nicely proportioned amount of white breast meat
• Age of Finishing

▪️We plan to finish them on grain soaked in milk, the old fashioned traditional way.

• We are looking for a small number of reliable buyers to take the male sex links off our hands as we hatch them. I will be asking $1 each on those males and possibly less depending on numbers available. Reach out to us if this is something you would be interested in.
