This 2011 Subaru Outback has been my daily driver since 2021. The original owner had put 190,000 miles on it, having lived in Colorado. That being said, there is some rust on the frame due to salted roads and the sort.

The biggest problem is the need for a new transmission. The previous owners never changed the transmission fluid, and I didn't catch it until too late. It began throwing a P0700 code (pictured). Apparently, due to where Subaru has placed the faulty part, it requires a lot of labor time, and I'm not sure what else could be wrong other than just the valve body.

Due to the age and mileage, it is due for a lot of other repair as well. For example, the CV axles will need changing soon based on look and feel, spark plugs will need changing, and the back hatch won't stay open by itself. It does have relatively new tires with a lot of good tread left, and I put in a new battery last month. Replaced two of the bushings and ball joints up front last year, and put new brakes on the back last month. Heat works really well, AC will probably need recharging soon.
