I have a 02 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS 4 speed automatic with slap shift, that runs and drives perfectly. It just hit 200k miles. We replaced the alternator last year. And in the last month we decided to replace a lot more parts just to secure it on the road for a lot longer. We replaced the thermostat, water pump, oil pan and gasket, spark plugs, Ignition coils, battery connections, head gasket, oil filter, adjusted the timing and cleaned and serviced most everything under the hood with new fluids as well as pressure washing all the old stains off. The car runs like a dream now. It has a few cosmetic issues on the exterior like small chips in the paint and the rims need a new coat of paint or new ones. Tires are great. And as with most vehicles this old, the dash is shattered on the top from heat exposure but it has a carpeted black cover over it all so its 99% not visible. Blinkers and lights work, but may need to be re-plugged in as they sometimes get stuck. It has a small spot on the windshield where a rock hit it but the crack isn't branching out. The ac does not work at this time but have not tried to get it going as it is a convertible which works. there is a small drip leak on the driver side that drops on the seat belt but it has not caused issues. seats have no rips or tears.
I am just posting to see what kind of trade offers that I can get. I am fine with keeping it but everyone likes new toys. I am interested in Manual 4-6 speed cars, preferably JDM cars or anything in that area. Do not want a true project car.
