Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction professionals on projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in metal stud framing, power tools, roof construction, frame carpentry, and assembly
- Knowledge of maintenance person tasks such as water damage restoration, caulking, and construction painting
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Good understanding of safety procedures and guidelines
