Talk about flashy!! Rayado is a strikingly handsome 1/2 Appaloosa 2 year old Gelding. His father is a registered few spot Appaloosa and his mother is a grade 1/2 quarter horse 1/2 Rocky Mountain saddle horse. Rayado has amazing Appaloosa markings, he has a full blanket up to his withers and lots of spots including peacock spots on his rump. His neck, face and legs sport the varnish speckling and his right eye is a partial blue. Rayado is as sweet and gentle as they come! He definitely has his mom’s Rocky Mountain Saddle horse temperament, he is easily a 1 or 2 on the temperament scale, not a mean bone in his body! He loves people and loves attention, all the attention he can get. He was gelded last spring. He is charting 15.1-15.3 hands. Rayado had been imprinted and played with since birth and is going to be easy to break and train. He is halter broke, leads, picks up his feet, he has had a saddle on his back and been lead around, absolutely no buck, kick or craziness out of him. He can be pastured or stalled, does well both ways. He stands nice for grooming. He just turned 2 on June 9 th and is ready to break and train your way. His mother is a wonderful family trail horse that anyone, even a complete beginner can handle and ride without any issues. She will also move cows. His mother is very smooth gaited. Rayado does not appear to be gaited yet, but that could all change since he is only a 2 year old. Rayado is going to make someone an amazing riding partner, he will make a super trail horse ( nothing spooks this fella), show mount, barrels, poles, chasing cows, whatever you want to do with him, rails to trails, Rayado is your horse!
