We desperately need a rental to call home. Ill share back story so you know . The house we was renting for $2000 a month was coming to its end . And decided to go cheaper because we wanted to save to maybe buy a pace. We went to stevens rental and put in a application on june 3, 2024 and was approved. So we was approved as well for deposit free program due to credit being good. I went an looked personally at the house we wanted. It didnt look to bad . Just had high grass and a deep clean was needed. We got things in line and uhaul was loaded , i called to double check on things ( it always had to be after 2pm to call to speak with the lady that does the move ins) and she tells us that it needs repairs amd moved our move in a week out. We was stressing to her that we needed to be moved due to our lease being up. So that week passes and once again its repairs wasnt finished so once again another week. This happens a couple more times. By this time its the first of july and our stuff is in 3 storage units and we get told that the repairs are to much that we need to find a different property. So she sends me to house #2 , a family already was supposed to move in so sends us to property #3, it had completely been remodeled and i spoke to the contractors . They was finishing up and would ve finished by the following week. Well u can only guess what we was told , it was going to be the next week. Then the next week . We ended up having to stay in a hotel. Id call and once again its not ready. Story short we put in at putnam properties and told stevens we needed a refund on the money they had taken out . I happen to go and check the credit reports and stevens reality had fraudulently charged 899.00 and other charges as well as said that we was evicted june 8th and that we signed a lease for house #3 and other paperwork says for house #1. So of couse that kicked us out of any chance of renting from any company. U can guess what it did to the credit score . So my mothers health was going down hill due to all the stress , we are currently staying in a hotel , our savings has been gone through as well as trying to find ANY resources to help us. We work, we try to save but paying for a room. 3 Storage buildings. On top of regular bills its scary. Theres so many scammers on market place and on lsn that its hard to trust a person. So if anyone knows of a property, 3br that is under 1300 a month please let me know. Ive contacted UCHRA, HOMELESS SHELTER, everything. Its a nightmare but reading the reviews isnt the only family this company has taken from. Im in the process of finding a lawyer to take my case and im going to get our niney back and hopefully have others get their money back too and have this company shut down. They are criminals. So sorry this is so long but i have to share my story and see if maybe someone would allow my family and i to rent a property, even if its a fixer upper , i have alot of experience in fixing properties as well as we have references.
