We need are in need of heat for the coming cold and the 1600.00 meter fee for water and line charge. Family of 11 with 9 children. We live in the woods with tons of wood ready to split and burn and are currently using IBC tank with no running water running to the property. We are on a fixed income so we don’t have a lot to spend to prepare for winter or pay the water company what they want to run our water. We have been looking for a wood stove, just a little pot belly. I was looking at the ones at tractor supply but 250 to 350 is just a lot for us at one time, we can’t even afford to get the water run up here. Honestly we would prefer one with burners on top to be able to use it to cook while we heat. We bought this property last year and this will be our first winter in our tiny house so it is not prepared for winter at all and have NO HEAT SOURCE. Last few winters we were in Florida so it didn’t get under 50 much.
