This was made by Sears and is listed in a 1950's Sears catalogue for $2.79 and called a Chicken Skillet. The lid has the Maid of Honor marking on the lid as does the bottom of skillet. Under the handle is a small x and 2 unreadable marks. I found one listing for this skillet that states N D and x are the markings. This measures 10 1/2" across top and is 3" deep. The only listing I could find was selling this for $199.00 and listed it as RARE.
It is cast iron.
