Deer Hunter Themed Charcuterie Tray $110

Silver Point, TN
back
This is one of our custom made Charcuterie Board/Serving Trays with a "deer hunter" motif made entirely in our shop. We begin the process by cutting to size all the pieces of white oak wood which will make the "body" of the board and then glue and clamp those pieces together using Titebond III, a food safe, waterproof adhesive. After the glue cures, we carve out the center section of the board on our CNC router and sand the board smooth. The individual layers of the deer are cut out on one of our CNC lasers. Each layer is painted with the different colors and then glued together. We then attach that to the center of the board and attach all of the arrow heads. A crystal clear epoxy resin is then poured over the area encapsulating everything together. We then pour two flood coats of epoxy resin over the entire board, front and back which gives the board a smooth glossy finish. We attach the two handles and four rubber pads to the back of the board. These pads will keep the board from "slipping" on most surfaces. This tray measures 16 inches in length x 12 inches wide x 1 1/8 inches thick. This is a beautiful serving tray and would make a great addition or gift to any kitchen/dining room. If interested, call and ask for Steve or leave a message. Thanks for looking.

NOTE: We have many more unique items for sale that you can view at our shop buffalovalleyatelier.etsy.com. If you see something that you're interested in, you can call me and I'll give you a price quote for local pick-up which will be less than the listed prices.

ATTENTION: This is a serving tray only and NOT a cutting board so please don't use a knife on the resin as it will scratch and mar. Do not put the board in a dishwasher, hand wash only.
Here are some tips on how to care for your board:

Handwashing your charcuterie board is recommended. Submerging the board in water or exposing it to high temperatures can damage the resin art.
Use a mild dish soap or a specially formulated wooden cutting board cleaner. Mix a small amount of the cleaning solution with warm water in a basin or sink.

Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe a mild dish soap solution on the surface of your serving board. Gently wipe the surface, including the resin art, using light pressure. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or brushes that can scratch or damage the resin.

Rinse thoroughly after cleaning with clean water to remove any soap residue. Ensure all cleaning solution is rinsed off to maintain the integrity of the resin art.

Dry the charcuterie board by patting with a dry, clean cloth. Allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing or using it again
