Nubian mix dairy goats- nannies/ billies $200
Sparta, TN
back
Nubian nannies and billies for sale:
All billies were born this year, most in January, so they are 9 months old.
We have two nannies that are a few years old, and a few more born in January.
The goats are mostly Nubian, but have some other dairy breeds mixed in (mostly Lamancha & Saanen.) They are not mixed with meat goat breeds. We ran a herd-share program for 10 years, where we made all kinds of cheese and dairy products from their milk. Changes to TN state law, made the cheese/butter making part of a herd-share illegal, which caused us to discontinue it. We still milk goats for our family and for making goat milk soap and lotion. We breed goats for temperament, de-worming resistance, and buttermilk content over strictly milk production, but they are still great milkers. The ones we are selling are the ones we are not milking, so they will require some training. We only need to milk a couple for our family's needs now. (We don't register our goats.)
Billy #1 (from our best milk goat)- $200
Smaller billies for $100/each
nannies- $200/each
doe#1 & doe#2 were born in January (9 months old)-
doe#3 & doe#4 are a few years old and most likely pregnant to give birth around January again (good mothers)
There are more billies and maybe some nannies I missed in the pictures. Prices are firm. I won't respond to offers, and not interested in trades. The older nannies are likely bred, and possibly the 9-month olds nannies. (So, you might get 3 goats for $200 within a few months.)
