My dear community. It is with a heavy heart that I come here, along with other social platforms, asking for your consideration in helping Olivia (Livvy) Gunn's family with the medical expenses of the extensive surgery she needs to have at the end of August, just a month away. The Gunn family already faces extreme medical bills that have become unbearable as they struggle to find ways to afford medications for their 3 young children, countless doctor's appointments, and now extensive surgery their oldest, Livvy, needs to have done. Miss Livvy, a sweet 11-year-old, needs to have a 12mm mass from the base of her brain, along with a fluid-filled cyst ranging from C2-T2 of her spinal cord removed. The cyst Livvy has on the base of her brain causes her excruciating migraines resulting in extreme back and neck pain while making her very dizzy. After Livvy’s latest MRI scan this May, the importance of having surgery was stressed upon by a pediatric neurosurgeon due to the location of her cyst and the size of the mass on her brain.

Livvy's parents are nervously anticipating her surgery but are burdened with how they are going to pay for it. You see, the Gunn children, along with their mother, all suffer from different health ailments requiring them to attend countless doctor's appointments and be on a wide range of medications. Due to the 3 children all being under the age of 12, they are only allowed certain medications. Many of their medications must be alternated, forcing the family to get brand name medications, as their small bodies can only tolerate so much of one medication at any given time. Their medications alone cost an average of $9,500 every two weeks and I imagine Livvy's surgery will cost around $100,000. I ask for your help with lessening the burden of these costs, allowing the Gunn family to focus more on Livvy and her siblings during this time of need. Meals, whether made or delivered, would also be a blessing and prayers for Livvy's surgery to go smoothly would be so greatly appreciated!

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you feel in it your heart to help and need to reach out to me. Please be mindful that I have left many details about the family and their situation out of this story as telling it all would make reading this seem like a mini book, thus I think causing it to become uninviting to read. If you would like to read more about the Gunn family's story and/or make a contribution, here are their funding links;
1. GoFundMe link > gofund.me
2. Spotfund link > spot.fund
3. Givetaxfree.org link > givetaxfree.org
* Your contribution on the Givetaxfree.org site is 100% tax deductible, up to limits set by the IRS. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt immediately through your email. *

I am making every effort to help the Gunn family with their medical expenses. Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting them in this time of need. I pray for you all to be blessed beyond measure.
