The mom and dad of the puppies belong to my parents. We thought we were only going to have a max of 3, which is a normal size litter for these breeds, BUT we were very surprised at the ultrasound that there were 8!! The mom is so little that she had to have a c-section.

Beau is the father, and he’s a teacup yorkie. He’s 4 pounds wet 😉, a super tiny munchkin. Gigit is the mom, a 10 pound Maltese. They are both crazy loyal, playful and SUPER cuddly. They don’t like being by themselves for long periods of time, which is the same for Morkies. My parents have a tiny chicken farm—Beau learned very early on how to corral the chickens for my dad as if he’s a sheep herder. My dad says “Beau, chickens” and he runs, circles them, and gets them inside their house. It’s the coolest thing. Gigit LOVES her humans—actually any humans, but especially my dad. When he sits down in his recliner, she wraps herself around the back of his neck like a scarf. It’s quite hysterical. They are both really smart and energetic.

This is our first and only litter of Morkies. Since Gigit had so many pups, we went ahead and had a hysterectomy done on her for her health. We didn’t want to risk another large litter and risk her not making it. We bred and raised Golden Retrievers when I was growing up, so thankfully we’ve been through this a time or two.

The only other issue that you need to watch out for is making sure while it is young that it doesn’t jump far. Since they are so little there is the potential of it getting hurt.

The breed in general is really playful but also will mirror the personality of the family. We are pretty chill at our house, so they will play fetch for a bit then want to cuddle and sleep.

We have been tracking their weight daily, but it’s extremely hard to predict weight. If I were to estimate, I would say they would be ten pounds or under.

We are asking for a $200 non refundable deposit with the balance of $800 due at the time of pickup. They will have had four rounds of deworming and first shots. Their tails have already been docked and their dew claws removed for safety.
