This is Grissom, he is a two and a half year old pure bred German shepherd. He was born Jan 1st 2022, he is not registered. He is currently intact and would make super smart babies. He himself is super smart and learned how to fetch and was potty trained by 5 weeks old. He is an outdoor dog but does like to come in on occasion. I have owned his since he was 4 weeks old, and I hate to try to find him a new home but I feel I need to.
I bought him to be a farm dog but unfortunately as he’s grown up he’s not fitting in. I can’t trust him with my chickens and ducks, he’s never killed anything but I keep them separate at all times. He gets along with my goats and ponies and my cats that aren’t scared of him, but he chases my cats that run from him. I only have him so I don’t know how he would be with other dogs.
He’s had his shots and heartworm prevention.
He is indeed a guard dog and prefers women, he will growl and bark loudly at any stranger but is perfectly gentle with me and my family and friends and lets me put my hand in his mouth when he eats and trim his nails no problem. And he does fine at the vets office.
I am asking a price for him to make sure he gets a good home, but that can be discussed to the right home.
