You are considering the purchase of a SIGNED Steinbach King Arthur Nutcracker, # S621. This is a Limited Edition #007055 nutcracker adding to it's rarity and value. He is part of the Camelot Series. King Arthur was made in 2002 and comes with his original box and tag. This nutcracker is signed by Herr Christian Steinbach and stands approximately 18" tall and he could be yours.
You've got to think about the upcoming holidays (Mother's or Father's Day, Birthday, Anniversary, or Christmas). This would be a special gift for someone you know who would love to have this nutcracker; maybe even yourself.
You may or may not know that Steinbach is no longer in business under the Steinbach ownership so their nutcrackers will likely increase in value - especially the signed ones. Steinbach Nutcrackers are the most cherished nutcrackers in the world and can be handed down from one generation to the next as a family heirloom. The Steinbach family started hand crafting nutcrackers in 1832 by purchasing a timber yard and an operating wood sawmill that initially ran by water power and later was converted to steam power. "To produce one nutcracker," explains Herr Christian Steinbach, "can involve up to 130 separate procedures. At one time, the curling and natural drying to the wood could take up to 3-4 years depending upon the piece." The late Herr Christian Steinbach was the patriarch of the Steinbach nutcracker family, he said "A nutcracker is a symbolic figure, one that gives happiness and protects your home and family." The name Steinbach is recognized the world over for their unique wood carved and hand painted creations developed over generations by the Steinbach Family. Steinbach Nutcrackers are the most popular German nutcrackers in the world and vary greatly in price depending on their collectability, subject matter and availability. Some limited edition nutcrackers have sold for over $1,000 at auction. Whether you are starting a new collection or adding to your existing collection, or know someone you would like to give a nutcracker to as an awesome gift, you will love these time honored pieces.
We have one other signed nutcracker for sale (S672 Grat Luckner) a Sailor who stands 15" tall with original tag and box if you are interested.
Thank you for taking the time to look at this item.
