Larger heifer with collar leads, had been machine and hand milked by previous owners, about 6 yr old. Smaller is only couple years old. I’m not sure she has ever calved but she took to a calf and let him try to nurse when I put him in the field with her. I think she’ll make a good nurse cow. Both are very gentle and allow me to rub their udder with no issue. They were both AI’d by a2/a2 jersey semen and then I let them run with angus bull for a couple months after. Both should be bred but nothing is confirmed. Should be due to calve December/january. They have not been disease tested and I do not know their a2 status. Both are great cows that I hate to see go, but we are lessening our responsibilities at home for now. Asking 2,000 each. Also willing to trade for a camper for my family and can add a little boot.
