I happen to be a collector of vintage sound systems, particularly 80s and 90s-era boomboxes. From my collection, I'm pleased to offer for sale three (3) awesome Panasonic boomboxes from the mid-90s. There are two (2) RX-DT680 systems and one (1) RX-DT690. All 3 have been refurbished and rendered in excellent condition, with new belts for the tape decks and CD players, all of which work perfectly, cleaned outside and inside, checked for any damages (there are none), etc. All 3 come with working remotes, are rust-free in the battery compartments, and have their original, unbent antennas. Believe me, if you look around the Internet for these radios, it's rare to find them in this excellent a condition! Most will have cosmetic damage, be dirty, and have components that are broken or non-working. These boomboxes of mine are in virtually like-new condition. I don't sell junk.

Here are the specs for both the RX-DT680 and the RX-DT690:

The Panasonic RX-DT680 was a very popular, 3-piece boombox. It has an AM/FM tuner, a CD player, and two tape decks. It is well-liked for its high power and excellent, bass-heavy sound. It is a bi-amp system, with separate amps for the highs and lows, producing a total of 15 watts per channel RMS (11 watts for each woofer and 4 watts for each tweeter). The woofers are 12cm diameter, and the tweeters are 8cm. Altogether it measures 641mm wide, and weighs 8.7kg without batteries.

The RX-DT690 is a 3-piece CD boombox, well-liked for its high power and excellent, bass-heavy sound. It was the only model in Panasonic's Platinum Collection with 3-way speakers (which include 12cm woofers, 8cm mids, and 1.5cm ceramic tweeters). It is a bi-amp system, with separate amps for the lows and highs. It has a digital tuner, 2 tape decks, and a CD player. There is a graphic equalizer and a knob for S-XBS (Super Extra Bass System). Total system dimensions are 642mm wide, 267mm tall, and 231mm deep. It takes 10 D-cell batteries, and 4 AA batteries for memory backup.
