Our flock is raised on organic pasture and forage. We supplement with non gmo layer feed and plenty of veggies and herbs from our heirloom gardens. We focus on helping our neighbors expand their egg rainbow with healthy birds that have great temperments. As a working farmstead, we also appreciate dual purpose chickens, and feed our family with extra males. If dual purpose matters to you, feel free to request that your chicks be all dual

What’s hatching in 2024:
*Rainbow Mix- $8 A beautiful assortment of chicks that will grow up to be beautiful hens that lay a rainbow of egg colors! The roosters are well tempered and great flock protectors. Many chicks will grow up to be barred, cuckoo, Splash, Blue. Some black, laced, and birchen. Some will have feathered feet, muffs and beards. Our rainbow mix will add diversity to your flock AND your egg basket.
*Tennessee Speckled Eggers- $8 each/straight run. We’ve been developing this breed for 5 years specifically to be hardy and productive in our area. Dual Purpose, lightly to heavily speckled cream, pink, brown and chocolate large eggs. Predator aware. The cockerels grow up to be excellent Roosters. Most have barred and lace feathering. This breed project includes Barred Rock, Marans, Welsummer, Wyandotte & Bielefelder genetics.
*Ocean Eggers- $8 each/ straight run. There is a waitlist for our Ocean Eggers, but they are part of our Rainbow Mix! Our 2024 line leans more on the green side. Spearmint, blue greens and lighter olive shades will be most common, with some bright blue eggs. Some chicks will have cute crested hairdos and/or fluffy cheeks and beards. Genetics include our Purebred Heritage Ameraucana, Crele Legbar, Cream Legbar, Marans and Wyandotte.
*By special request we may have some Purebred Heritage Blue and Splash Ameraucana($12 each/straight run)
* Golden Cuckoo Marans- They are our only guaranteed female breed. Female chicks- $15, male- $5. Both males and females grow up to be stunningly beautiful! The girls lay L/XL heavily speckled eggs and the boys make great roosters. Nice to people, but great predator protection.
*UNAVAILABLE- We will have very limited pullets, cockerels, laying hens and roosters available throughout the year($25- $35 ). We may have more available this summer/fall. Your best bet is chicks:)
