Pastured mixed breed piglets. Dad is a purebred blond Mangalitsa and the mom is half Mangalitsa and half mixed Hampshire/Berkshire/Duroc. These pigs will be a nice medium size, not as small as KuneKune and much easier to manage than larger heritage breed pigs, probably around 200 lbs.
Since they are mixed breed, they will mature much faster than purebred Mangalitsa. Their mixed breed mothers reached puberty by 7 months old and were at butchering size by 9-10 months old. This particular mix of breeds is hardy, healthy, non-aggressive, and easy to keep.
Know what you're eating! Our pigs are never vaccinated or given antibiotics, or fed soy or gmo. The piglets were born in the pasture and are trained to an electric fence and a water nipple. They're supplemented with produce and organic fermented grain, gallons of fresh and clabbered Jersey milk, and are kept healthy with kelp, garlic, DE, and ACV. Mangalitsa are known for being especially delicious with delicate lard when raised on pasture. We recently butchered one of their mothers and she is delicious.
Piglets were born at the end of November and weaned at 7 weeks. I would prefer to get rid of my remaining gilts and not have to worry about keeping them away from their dad once they reach puberty. I've done the hard work of raising them through winter, when the cost of feeding them is high. Now you can finish them out in time for fall butchering, or breed them within a few months. Must take all three. No lowballs - I will finish them myself rather than take less than what it cost to raise them to this point.
In the photos, they are the red one with the spot, the darker colored one with the light underbelly (swallow bellied), and the blonde one next to dad.
I accept cash, certified or cashier's check, BTC, silver, UPMA goldbacks, or Zelle. I will also consider barter for a similarly raised RED female purebred mangalitsa, a female purebred meishan pig, or a steer calf that hasn't been vaccinated. Sorry, no personal checks, PayPal or Venmo.
Can deliver within a reasonable distance (up to 3 hours) for an additional fee.
