I bought this car new in May 2007 and it still runs like a top. All the maintenance records, manuals, keys, etc. I've driven it coast to coast several times and wouldn't hesitate to do so again right now.

I got clipped by a tractor trailer on I-40 last winter which did about $7700 in body damage. After a couple months I had the minimal repairs performed to allow me to be able to safely drive it (replaced front right fender, headlight, taillight, banged out the rear quarter and screwed the rear bumper cover back on - close-up photos are posted). It still has a clean title, not salvage.

This past summer I had the ABS module replaced (speedometer issue, common to this year Camry), the A/C recharged (blows ice cold now), and a new radiator. Just today I bought a hard plastic custom dash board overlay to cover up another problem common to this year - shiny, sticky dash.

Body is a bit rough (I mean, really, would it have killed the body shop to have at least TRIED to find a blue fender!) and it is in dire need of a paint job, but if you're handy with that type of work, or just don't care, then this car is indestructible and very economical to run. The interior is a bit worn, but no tears in the seat. Non smoking car.

I would invest in the body work and paint job ( or maybe just globber on some flat black Rustoleum), but I found a 2011 Camry with less than 100K miles that is as new, so this one has to go. I drive it daily, and it has always gotten 30MPG hwy/city combined and up to 35MPG on highway. If the body was in good shape, I'd ask another couple thousand...and would get it. Blue book values with this mileage is $5300 to $7500 or thereabouts. Ask around, these are great cars.

The CD player gave up the ghost a couple years ago, but it has an MP3 jack and I just plug in a portable CD player...or listen to the radio. Everything else works as it should.
