Job description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Use SolidWorks and CAM programming software to create and modify CNC programs
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect finished products using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including lathe and milling machines
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and electrical discharge machining (EDM)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements
- Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Salary: $17.00 - $23.18 per hour
