Karakachan/ Great Pyrenees mix female $100

Dog Breed | Karakachan and Great Pyrenees mix |
Rehoming a 1.5 year old female karakachan/great pyr mix. She's been exposed to fowl and our guineas and turkeys sleep with her but she has to be monitored around our chickens, she hasn't harmed any but she has chased our rooster. To be fair, the rooster has rocks for brains and flies at her then she wants to play with him. She should be able to be trusted around all livestock when she matures a bit if she's worked with. Mika does well with other dogs and cats, she's good at guarding property, and respects fences but has no training with electric fences. She sleeps in the barn but has slept inside on occasion and she's housetrained. She's usually quiet during the day but barks at critters in the woods just past our fence at night.
Mika was born on a working farm and shadowed both parents until 3 months old, since then we've been her only owners. She had exposure to large and small farm animals as a puppy, has excellent dog body language, and she's well socialized. She walks with a leash but pulls, doesn't jump over or dig out of fences (but roams off of our 10 acres when she isn't fenced), and she does great on a tether and runner. When she's overly excited she jumps on people but stops when corrected. She has had one oopsie litter of puppies and is still intact.
She learns commands quickly and she's a good, sweet dog but my husband is a disabled veteran that has to travel more frequently now for services bc of a recent change with his health, and our birds aren't enough companionship for her as a LGD. We'll have to travel several times a month soon and would like to find her a better fit before then.
Rehoming fee includes the rest of her heartguard plus, K9 advantage flea and tick meds, her dog bed, toys,
and some food. She's been regularly dewormed, on heartworm/worm/flea/tick preventatives and had her first year of shots, and she's microchipped. Embark testing showed clear health, and her medical records from our veterinarian are available.
We can meet in Hardinsburg or Leitchfield KY, or somewhere in that vicinity.
Best way to reach us is by phone or text.
