Dixie was at a football field in Sparta for over a week. No one would claim her or take her home. I worked concession and was told about her by a coach. My daughters and I couldn’t leave her there so we took her home. (She didn’t have a microchip and no one came forward after posting about her online multiple times.) She was pregnant and had 7 puppies 3 weeks later. So we gave her a loving home with the intention to find another in the future. Dixie is friendly and now house trained. I don’t believe she was worked with before she came home with us. She listens to commands now and is very playful. The downside is she loves to chase vehicles. I keep a leash on her at all times for potty breaks and it goes great. She is vet checked and had a rabies shot 11/13/23. All her puppies have found loving homes, so now it’s her turn. We already have 3 large dogs. Our intentions were to keep her and her puppies safe and happy until we could find homes for them. Please text if interested.
