This table has the originally swing arm mechanism manufactured by K&E (KEUFFEL & ESSER) CO. It includes two rulers made by UNION INSTRUMENT CO/UIC, INC.

The table can be laid flat as a working surface or used as a table. It can also be adjusted to draw or display at an angle.
It’s in really great condition. With everything functioning as it should.

This is three items in one: first it’s a drafting table. Second it’s a useful piece of furniture and third, it’s an antique.

An interesting side note; some say that Dietzgen copied Hamilton and others say Hamilton copied Dietzgen. Either way, this is a very nice piece of useful history.
