This registered White Dexter bull calf, born 5/12/23, will check all your boxes. Homopolled A2A2, non-chondro and non-PHA, with nice conformation and a great temperament. His sire and dam also have great conformation and friendly temperaments. Coconut Spice is red-tipped with a pink nose, and is E /e red (one copy wild type red and one copy recessive red).

Coconut is trained to an electric fence and will come to you for food. He is also now halter trained. I think he is also ready to be of service, as the heifer he's been pastured with seems to be pregnant.

Mom is eight years old and has several healthy calves under her belt and a good udder. Dad is an easy bull to manage and will let us manhandle him without a fuss. Both parents are very healthy, and so is Coconut.

We keep a closed herd and raise our livestock as naturally as possible. Our animals are never given antibiotics or vaccines, and never fed soy, gmo, or herbicide-sprayed hay. We do feed a very small amount of fermented, organic grain mixed with alfalfa as a daily treat. Our cattle free choice kelp and humates along with mineral and salt supplements.

White Dexters are a rare but hardy breed that produce quality meat and have improved milk compared to heritage Dexters. Plus they're super cute! White Dexters make ideal homestead bulls. They are easy to contain and easy to manage, and thrive on weedy pasture. Despite their smaller size, they have no problem getting the job done with larger cows. Coconut would also make a great 4-H show animal, or even a pet.
